MFA candidate Ebstein uses a range of materials to create abstract works that emphasize perceptual shift and variation. Imperfect grids and structures skew fields into and out of a rectilinear geometry, while visual artifacts in the form of ambiguous gestures and vaguely organic shapes are suspended.
