This holiday season, experience the power of Baltimore’s finest voices

Baltimore Musicales, the innovative performing arts organization featuring local professional singers and instrumentalists, announces two concerts for the holiday season.

A Children’s Holiday Spectacular, to be presented on Saturday, December 10 at 3:00 PM, is a fun and festive program of holiday favorites performed by sopranos Annie Gill and Thea Tullman Moore, baritone Jason Buckwalter, bass-baritone Jarrod Lee, and pianist Patricia McKewen Amato. The audience is invited to sing, dance, shake some jingle bells and enjoy sweet treats with the artists following the performance.

’Tis the Season: A Holiday Musicale, to be presented on Sunday, December 18 at 6:30 PM, features beautiful seasonal songs and classic carols followed by a champagne reception with the artists.

Baltimore Musicales is dedicated to preserving the art of the song recital. Through accessible, engaging, and diverse programs of art song, opera, and musical theater, they introduce audiences to the power and beauty of the unamplified voice. Says Thea Tullman Moore, founder and executive director of Baltimore Musicales, “We are very proud to support outstanding local artists who are pasionate about this music. Baltimore has an appreciation for art in so many forms—we are pleased to fill the need for an intimate setting for song with performers of such high quality. We hope to cultivate new audiences for these genres in addition to building a sense of community through these shared experiences."

Both performances will be held at the First Christian Church, 5802 Roland Avenue, Baltimore. No tickets required.
