Baltimore, MD – Station North Arts & Entertainment, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of our 3rd season of the Community Supported Art (CSA) program.
Based on the same concept as Community Supported Agriculture, the Station North CSA provides participating shareholders with the freshest art that Baltimore has to offer. For the third season of the CSA, we’ve partnered with the Baltimore Jewelry Center, Baltimore Clayworks, and Full Circle Photo, who have each curated selected artists for this season’s roster.
At each of the CSA meetings, four artists give brief presentations about their work and shareholders rank their preferred artists. Ranking is used to ensure that shareholders aren’t getting a box full of kale at pick-up when they’d rather have beets. These events are also an opportunity to network, mingle, and meet CSA artists.
“We’re excited to launch the third season of the Station North CSA, and we’re especially excited that this round of the CSA will allow us to highlight some of our partner arts organizations including Full Circle Photo, Baltimore Clayworks, and our new neighbors, The Baltimore Jewelry Center,” said Allison Gulick, Station North CSA Coordinator.
“The Station North CSA continues to provide an entry point to the world of art collecting for new collectors, and an opportunity to learn about new artists for more seasoned collectors,” added Ben Stone, Station North Executive Director. “The CSA program plays a crucial role in supporting artists, the foundation of the Station North Arts & Entertainment District.”
