This exhibition presents the work of Taiwanese and Taiwanese-American artists who exploring how identity can be complicated by race, privilege, power, and personal experience both in East Asia and the U.S. Their works address different time-periods in history and transform memories of immigration and notions of diaspora into intimate microcosms of visual experience. Curated by Fang Yu Lee, candidate in Maryland Institute College of Arts (MICA) MFA in Curatorial Practice program. Co-presented with MICA.
