Imani-Grace Cooper is a tender vocalist from Minneapolis and a Fine Arts graduate of Howard University’s Jazz Department. Imani-Grace’s expressive delivery -- which ranges from plaintive to rapturous -- constitutes her various performance spaces, including The Washington National Cathedral where she’s been the regular voice streamed live to millions across the world during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gavin Horning is a guitarist, arranger, composer, and educator originally from Elizabethtown in Lancaster County, PA, and has been based in Central PA, Pittsburgh, and the DMV. Gavin has performed with premier artists such as Sean Jones, Steve Rudolph, the Mike Tomaro Sextet, and others.

Drummer, recording artist, educator, Michael Kuhl hails from the musically diverse city of Baltimore. Kuhl studied and performed in numerous genres, making him a first call drummer for any situation. A graduate of Towson University, Kuhl has performed locally and throughout the globe alongside jazz greats Dave Liebman, Tony Malaby, Michael Formanek, Dave Ballou, Ellery Eskelin and Claudio Roditi. Outside of jazz, Kuhl has shared the stage with many international acts such as Beach House, Arboretum, Cigarettes After Sex, Tom Tom Club, and The Ravonnettes.
Karter Jaymes was born and raised in Baltimore and is the former drummer for the Legendary Teddy Pendergrass. He is now an acoustic Singer/Songwriter whose writing style ranges from blues, to folk and alternative soul. Karter has performed in acoustic clubs and concert venues in the US and overseas. His activities include opening act performances at Rams Head On Stage – Annapolis, MD, for Judith Hill – season 4 finalist on The Voice, and Taylor Hicks - season 5 winner of American Idol.
Shriver Hall Concert Series presents pianist Daniil Trifonov. Described by The New York Times as “one of the most awesome pianists of our time,” Daniil Trifonov’s consummate technique combines with rare sensitivity and depth. The 2019 Grammy winner’s two previous SHCS performances were sold-out sensations. He returns to Shriver Hall Concert Series with the world premiere of a recital pre-recorded at New York’s 92nd Street Y featuring works by Szymanowski, Debussy, and Brahms.
