The second annual Baltimore Fine Art Print Fair (BFAPF) is coming soon, March 30-April 2, 2023. The only all-contemporary print fair in the country, BFAPF showcases the latest contemporary prints and multiples from an international array of thirty galleries, dealers, and print publishers. The print fair takes place once again at the Baltimore Innovation Center, 1100 Wicomico Street in Baltimore’s Pigtown neighborhood. The fair will kick off with a VIP Preview Party on Thursday, March 30, from 6:00–9:00 pm, and runs through the weekend.
To launch our new partnership with the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce, GBCA is excited to announce a special happy hour event happening on Thursday, March 30 from 6 - 8 p.m., at Urban Reads Bookstore located at 3008 Greenmount Avenue, Baltimore, MD.

Learn how to knit with Jayne! Total of two sessions.
We begin this technique course with the basics, such as how to hold the knitting needles and yarn, and progress you through all the basic stitches. This class is taught in the English-style of knitting (controlling the yarn with your right hand). Step-by-step, you will learn the skills needed to confidently knit any beginner-level pattern. You will be provided with some beginner patterns which you will be able to knit after the last session.

Known for her interpretations of Johann Sebastian Bach’s music, British-Canadian pianist Angela Hewitt was appointed to the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II and was the first woman in history to receive Leipzig Bach Medal. She will perform Bach’s English Suite as well as works by Domenico Scarlatti and Johannes Brahms. The concert is part of the Candlelight Concert Society’s 50th-anniversary season.

Maryland Art Place (MAP) is excited to announce Out of Order (OOO), MAP’s Annual Spring Benefit Exhibition & Silent Auction, where any artist is welcome to hang one original work of art on a first-come, first-served basis. Installation will take place Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 7am-midnight. We will have donuts and coffee for the early birds and pizza and Karaoke in the basement from 9pm to 11pm for the late installers. No need to sign up in advance, just come by MAP's first- floor gallery space @ 218 West Saratoga Street in the Bromo Arts District!
Maryland Art Place (MAP) is happy to continue KIDOOO, a youth version of Out of Order! KIDOOO was created as an opportunity for young artists to exhibit their work in a major arts venue, expanding MAP’s services to students in elementary, middle, and high school level arts classes.
The opening of KIDOOO will take place in tandem with MAP's annual Out of Order event on April 21, 2022.

Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675) lived and worked in Delft. His work is best known for his tranquil, introverted indoor scenes, his unprecedented use of bright, colorful light and his near-photographic illusionism.
