This exhibition explores the dissolution of mapped territories—both physical and psychological—as these artists navigate shifting spaces of identity, power, and transformation. The exhibition will be on view from March 1 to March 29.

This annual exhibition highlights the best undergraduate work, such as painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. All students are invited to submit up to five works they have completed while studying at McDaniel College. Winners with pieces selected for the exhibition are announced during the opening reception. Juror for the exhibition is Harford Community College Professor of Art and Design Heidi Neff Chuffo.

What is an improv show, exactly?

CROSSINGS, a film by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Deann Borshay Liem, captures the groundbreaking mission of Women Cross DMZ (WCDMZ), a group of international women peacemakers who sets out on a historic journey across the Demilitarized Zone from North to South Korea, calling for an end to the 74-year war that has divided the Korean Peninsula. Witness how thirty women activists dare to tread forbidden territory to draw global attention to the unresolved war and demand a seat at the table in bringing about peace.
Kith & Kin, A Rewilding of Sound and Form is an immersive and multisensory exhibition where sculptural ceramic instruments, musical compositions, and multimedia installations invite us to connect with the profound beauty of our living world and explore our relationships with the more-than-human beings who are our kin.

Maryland Art Place (MAP) is excited to announce Out of Order (OOO), MAP’s Annual Spring Benefit Exhibition & Silent Auction, on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at 6pm-10pm. This year’s theme for OOO is Barbarella based on the 1968 science fiction film. By covering the walls from floor to ceiling, Out of Order provides a salon-style display space for hundreds of artists to hang their work wherever they please.
Maryland Art Place (MAP) is excited to invite you for KIDOOO, MAP’s accompanying youth-driven Out of Order exhibition. KIDOOO was created as an opportunity for young artists to exhibit their work in a major arts venue, expanding MAP’s services to students in elementary, middle, and high school level arts classes. The opening of KIDOOO will take place in tandem with MAP's annual Out of Order event on Friday, April 11th, 2025 from 6pm-10pm.
