For more than a decade The Garifuna Collective has pushed the boundaries of their dynamic, centuries-old musical traditions, breaking new ground with performances that show why UNESCO has proclaimed the language, dance, and music of the Garifuna people of Central America as a “Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity”. The collective has been part of the most celebrated Garifuna albums of all time, recipient of the WOMEX and BBC World Music Award and voted by Amazon as the Number One World Music Album of All Time.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of music, adventure, and fun as the Hunt Valley Wind Ensemble presents a free Children’s Concert on Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. at Dulaney High School in Timonium. Enjoy favorites including music from Harry Potter, the theme from Raiders of the Lost Ark, a spirited Sousa march, and more performed by a full concert band in a lively, family-friendly setting. Admission is free, and there is plenty of free parking.

While possibly the most performed choral work in history, Handel’s epic Messiah is rarely has its 2nd and 3rd parts performed in their entirety. With guest soloists and period instruments, this promises to be a unique event in West Baltimore.

This summer the PLAY's the thing with summer camps at The Studio! Your child’s imagination will take the spotlight at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company. Each week, kids will explore Shakespeare’s language, create characters, jump into stage combat and clowning and learn confidence and creativity before creating a final staged presentation. Register by MARCH 27 and SAVE 20% on tuition.
