Get dazzled with a brand new live musical comedy in a theater show. All lyrics, all music, and all scenes you’ll hear and see are made up on the spot in the style of a Broadway musical.
See a complete improvised story with heroes you cheer for, plucky sidekicks, villains you’ll hate, and quirky townsfolk. You’ll be drawn in with their singing about their larger than life emotions.
Parking: $3 at the lot across the street if you say you are there for the theater.

Accolades: The "Dear Black Girl" project received one of the Mayor's Individual Artist Awards for 2022.
The Artist: Tamara Payne is a community artist, educator and activist. The Dear Black Girl project is Tamara Payne's first of many collaborations.
Grammy Award-nominated Canadian-American pianist and composer Marc-André Hamelin will perform Beethoven’s “Hammerklavier” Sonata, Op. 106, as well as one of his own compositions for the first time in Maryland. The concert is part of the Candlelight Concert Society’s 50th-anniversary season.
