Zofia Chamera earned her BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020 and her MFA in Studio Art from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2022. Working across clay, wax, bronze, and handmade paper, her sculpture explores the boundaries between fine art and craft. Chamera currently teaches Historic Papermaking at MICA and serves as a Papermaking Associate at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Baltimore, and Philadelphia, and internationally in Tuscany, Italy and Echizen, Japan.
