This event is the major Asian Pacific cultural heritage event in the greater Baltimore region. This event will serve to highlight the contributions made by the Asian Pacific communities to the people and City of Baltimore. In the spirit of our theme of unity, an African Master drummer will join in a performance, and Baltimore’s own Riley Hawkins will display his group’s martial arts. The Embassies of Japan and Vietnam will bring cultural objects, including Sake tasting, and a Maglev model train display.
The sounds of Jacqueline Marie Butler's world come to life through new lobby experiences pre and post-show. Enjoy a fun, festive, lounge after the play every Friday night in June. The bar stays open and music continues. Be introduced to incredible local musicians, bands, and other artistic organizations showcasing work inspired by the powerful narrative of the Queens Girl Rep.
Exit the theatre and walk into an afterparty. All-vinyl, Baby Alcatraz spins as you grab a drink, enjoy conversation, and dance as the lobby pulses with sounds of the '60s.
