The legendary Baltimore Old Time & Bluegrass jam is coming to R. House for two evenings of acoustic stringband music! All are welcome to play along in the jam regardless of skill level or instrument. Even if you don't play, you can come to soak in the scene, listen to the music and grab a bite to eat from one of the ten food stalls or a drink from R. Bar. It's THE happening spot in town for food and community.
Children ages 5 ½ to 12 are invited to audition for the 2022-2023 Conservatory Season starting in September. Alma Cocina Latina is bringing the sounds of Latin American jazz to Baltimore on Wednesday, August 24th with celebrated Italian-born vocalist Irene Jalenti.
Jalenti, joined by virtuoso guitarist, bandleader, and educator Tom Lagana, will deliver a gripping performance of jazz standards while exploring new layers of emotion and meaning in Latin American music.

Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover Baltimore presented by Northrop Grumman returns to Baltimore City and Baltimore County this fall with an exciting line-up of ship tours, festivals, flyovers and educational activities, taking place IN-PERSON September 7-13, 2022 at the Inner Harbor, Upper Locust Point, Fells Point and Martin State Airport. This week-long, family-friendly, free event celebrates the rich maritime traditions of the Chesapeake Bay and the contributions of Marylanders to the defense of the nation and is presented by title sponsor Northrop Grumman along with His
Harpist Jacqueline Pollauf performs a program of French music, all related to the Paris Conservatoire, which was the center of the harp world for many years. Her concert will feature music by Gabriel Pierné, André Jolivet, Marcel Samuel-Rosseau, André Caplet, Marcel Tournier, and Pollauf’s own transcription of a work by Lili Boulanger.
Opening Candlelight Concert Society’s 50th-anniversary season, The Knights will perform music by Ludwig van Beethoven and Czech composer Leos Janacek as well as a new, original piece by composer Viet Cuong commissioned by the society. A chocolate and champagne toast celebrating 50 years will follow the performance.
Bring your own blanket & booze and enjoy weekly summer concerts on the Center Plaza lawn. Some weeks will feature local food trucks and pop-up vendors, and some might be more of a dance party.

Bach in Baltimore's Chorus of 50 singers will perform Bach St John Passion, Faure Requiem, Bernstein Chichester Psalms, Handel Dettingen Te Deum and more. The auditioned choir rehearses Sundays from 5 -7 at the Maryland State Boychoir Center for the Arts, Baltimore.
