 nd invited  guests, workshops emphasize a somatic approach to intermediat
 e-level modern  dance technique, layering self-awareness with dynamic mov
 ement choices and  personal artistry. Each workshop highlights and builds 
 upon a particular  theme, such as spirals, sequencing, exertion/recuper
 ation, phrasing, and  weight sharing. Students enjoy discovering their s
 oma, taking risks,  exploring the body’s capabilities, and integrating 
 concepts into daily life  all within a supportive environment.
