DESCRIPTION:After bumping up against scheduling conflicts one too many time
 s at the Lyric  Opera House, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra moved into 
 its brand new home  at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in 1982. A visua
 l landmark in the Mt.  Vernon neighborhood, the Meyerhoff also is a marri
 age of form and function on  the inside as well, including improvements m
 ade in a late 1990s renovation.  On our tour, we will walk the stage and 
 explore the basement, music library,  and the area where the musicians h
 ang out before the show.
