DESCRIPTION:An intense one-day crash course in a blend of Suzuki Theatre tr
 aining, Noh  performance style, and Zen practices as they apply to the a
 ctor’s body,  voice, and presence. At the end of the class students will
  have a taste of  the discipline that is required in the preparation for a
 n onstage role in  eastern culture as well as a set of exercises designed 
 to strengthen the  actor’s core and focus. Participants should come with a
  piece of memorized  text around 30-40 seconds in length, socks, water,
  and studio appropriate  clothing. Be prepared to move vigorously for the 
 entirety of the session.
