 Hall Performing Arts and Humanities Building\n\nThe Department of Music pr
 esents the UMBC Jazz Ensemble under the direction  of Matthew Belzer. The 
 program will prominently feature the works from John  Coltrane’s iconic al
 bum A Love Supreme.\n\nA Love Supreme is an extended work in 4 movements,
  originally for a jazz  quartet. The UMBC Jazz Ensemble is drawing on the 
 original recording as well  as Wynton Marsalis’s arrangement for the Jazz 
 at Lincoln Center Orchestra  as inspiration for their interpretation.
