 ble under the  direction of Tom Goldstein. The UMBC Percussion Ensemble is
  a dedicated  performing group of advanced percussion students. The ensemb

 aphic-notation pieces,  improvisational works, and theatre, as well as 
 works by important early  percussion composers, such as Alan Hovhaness, 
 John Cage, and Carlos Chavez.
