DESCRIPTION:Last year, the UMBC Theatre community lost a family member, P
 rofessor  Emeritus William “Bill” T. Brown. Professor Brown was a well-kno
 wn and  highly respected figure in Maryland and Washington D.C. theatre, 
 and designed  and directed more than 150 productions. In 1970, he became 
 a founding member  of the theatre department at UMBC and served as departm
 ent chair for 18  years.
