DESCRIPTION:Historical structures vital to the streetscape that survive fro
 m the period  of Frederic Douglass’s residence in Fell's Point include two
  small wooden  houses on South Wolfe Street that represent over 200 years 
 of Baltimore  history. Preservation architect *Bryan Blundell* will discus
 s construction of  the houses around 1797 and their role in providing hous
 ing and opportunities  for free African-American ship caulkers from the 18
 30s to the 1850s.
