DESCRIPTION:Praised by the /New York Times/ for his “passion and poetry,” 
 pianist  Andrew Tyson is emerging as a distinctive musical voice. He won t
 he Young  Concert Artists International Auditions in 2011 and received an 
 Avery Fisher  Career Grant in 2013. He was also a prizewinner at the 2013 
 Queen Elisabeth  International Piano Competition of Belgium, and he won t
 he Terence  Judd-Hallé Orchestra Prize at the Leeds International Piano Co
 mpetition. He  graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music and earned his
  master’s degree  at the Juilliard School.
