DESCRIPTION:During our walk we will highlight the way species, water and e
 nergy move  through the landscape. During this event, people will be expo
 sed to  ecological patterns and processes often overlooked or unseen. We w
 ill begin  concentrating on nested scales and connections between things t
 hat happen  locally, experiencing how macro emerges from micro and micro 
 is shaped by the  macro. Attention to urban stream headwaters, native pla
 nts and animals (i.e.  yellow-crowned night herons) that survive and thriv
 e in cities will bring  this into view.
