 in Takoma Park,  MD. He has studied with modern masters of old-time music
  and venerates his  racial and ethnic heritage through his approach to mus
 ic and its history. He  received his BA in Ethnomusicology from Hamilton C
 ollege and has shared his  music and research at the Smithsonian Inst. and
  Museum of Fine Arts in Boston  among others. Please join us on August 11t
