 s brilliant  Symphony No. 4, a piece that went unrecognized until the Roy
 al Symphonic Band  of Belgian Guides recorded it 31 years after its premie
 re in 1939. The second  half of the program features /Three Comments on Wa
 r/, in which composer Jan  Meyerowitz sets ancient battle music and folk 
 songs into contemporary forms  that powerfully convey the heroism and trag
 edy of war.
