DESCRIPTION:The Howard County Arts Council's annual plein air paint-out is 
 fun for  artists and spectators alike! Over the course of the weekend, ju
 ried artists  will set up their easels throughout Ellicott City’s historic
  district to  capture the town’s picturesque charms as they vie for nearly
  $10,000 in  juror awards. Community artists are invited to join the fun 
 as part of Open  Paint, which takes place concurrently. The event culmina
 tes in an exhibit of  the juried artists' work at the Howard County Center
  for the Arts.
