DESCRIPTION:In this class, students will explore the building blocks of pe
 rformance by  delving into contemporary scenes. By experimenting with char
 acter and  emotion, developing honest moments, and staging the work for 
 an audience,  students will experience an overview of the actor's process
 . Class will  include a mix of warm-ups, group exercises, text analysis\
 , and open rehearsal  time, all geared toward providing an introduction t
 o acting techniques.  Actors will work in pairs and small groups to collab
 orate on a selection of  scenes, culminating in a sharing for friends and
  family.
