  context of  botanical forms. Surface treatments such as reticulation, ch
 asing and  repousse, and special flex shaft techniques serve to enhance t
 he forms  students explore. Direct molding, wax impressions, electroform
 ing, and  incorporating found objects will also be investigated. Students
  produce  multiple samples as well as one finished project for the course.
