 ll begin with  a cycle of Chinese folk songs representing the four seasons
  followed by  varied selections depicting Spring and Summer. Following int
 ermission, the  colors of Autumn will come alive before the snow and cele
 brations of the  winter season arrive. Composers from Monteverdi, Laurids
 en, Rutter, Rodgers  and Hammerstein to Holst, Berlin and Gershwin will
  create a unique musical  portrait of the seasons of the year.
