DESCRIPTION:I have been artist in residence at 6 national parks (Acadia, C
 ascades,  Petrified Forest, Rocky Mountains, Homestead National Monumen
 t, and Big  Cypress national preserve). Based on that experience, I will
  explain the  application process and provide examples of application mate
 rials, the Park's  expectations, lodging, travel, etc. The Park Servic
 e accepts artists of all  types including poets and choreographers, sculp
 tures, weavers, paper makers,  musicians, etc. The idea is to be inspi
 red by the park.
