Synopsis: Molly is an older English lady who digs up her ancestor: a four-million-year-old woman, miraculously alive. Molly names her Victoria and smuggles her home to Yorkshire. Clocks – biological and other – tick away in this engaging two-hander that digs deep beneath the sands of time to discover that we are all brothers and sisters under the skin.
Molly – 50s-70s. Northern English accent would be ideal. RP acceptable. She is energetic, profound, and a true adventurer in every sense. She is young at heart, engaging, and should not be afraid to break the fourth wall.
Victoria – late 20s-40s Physical movement is extremely important to this character. She begins as a primal, uncivilized, almost animal-like being who is eventually transforms into a thinking, feeling and highly intelligent woman.
