Baltimore Center Stage seeks Assistant Audience Services Manager

Baltimore Center Stage is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Audience Services Manager. The Assistant Audience Services Manager assists with visitor services including performance lobby activities and hospitality, house management and volunteer ushers, and the execution and coordination of in-house events and guest rentals.

Specific Duties include:

House Management

  • Schedule, train, and supervise a team of house managers
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of performance reports
  • Coordinate late-seating and any other show specific elements with production and stage management
  • House manage 3 to 4 performances per week
  • Maintain inventory of supplies for house management


  • Acknowledge and track rental inquiries, moving them through the approval process and ultimately forward to commitment and contract execution
  • Site/house manage or help arrange for site/house managers for rentals
  • Responsible for the execution of payment paperwork for rental workers
  • Responsible for set-up for rentals

In-House Events

  • Site manage when necessary
  • Responsible for the execution of payment paperwork for rental workers
  • Responsible for set-up for in-house events


  • Schedule, train, and supervise the BCS volunteers
  • Schedule, plan, and execute the BCS volunteer appreciation event(s)
  • Maintain inventory of supplies for volunteer services


  • Receive and distribute Audience Services deliveries
  • Filling in as a bar shift manager as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
