OUR STORY

Located in downtown Baltimore, Le Mondo is an artist-run bar & performance venue for artists and art-lovers with diverse arts programming and studio spaces. We support our creative community by providing affordable, flexible space to make and present art. At Le Mondo, we host a slate of in-house-produced arts programming and community gatherings as well as outside public and private rental events.

POSITION OVERVIEW

MAP offers internships for upper-level college students, graduate students, and recent graduates. Fall, Spring, and Summer Internships are available. MAP hours: 11 am-4 pm, Tuesday-Saturday.

Interns are responsible for assisting MAP in a variety of ways, ranging from programming to administration, with opportunities for special projects depending on skills and professional interests. Intern duties include: performing research; assisting with gallery preparation and installation; photo/video documentation, coordinating events, gallery sitting, social media, and community outreach.

CASTING - PAID - BALTIMORE

Rapid Lemon Productions is looking for an Asian-American / Pacific Islander (AAPI) actor for Her, Across the River, a play with movement by Hope Villanueva. CJay Philip directs this world premiere production.

The character is ASNEE - a Thai teenage male / student monk. Speaks English, with an accent.

Rehearsals are Monday & Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Tech week June 6-9. Performances June 10-26. Rehearsals and performances will be at Motor House, 120 W. North Avenue in Baltimore. $200 stipend paid.

BmoreArt seeks a part-time employee for an approximately 20-hour a week position as Gallery Coordinator for the Connect+Collect gallery space and program.

Connect+Collect, founded by Cara Ober and Jeffrey Kent, is a collecting initiative program of BmoreArt. Our gallery and workspace is located at 2519 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21218.

Founded in 2007, BmoreArt is a leading resource for contemporary art and culture in the Baltimore region, a platform for creative and critical discussion. BmoreArt applies editorial and community-building capabilities including a digital publication, biannual print journal, lectures, events of all sizes, and social media. Our goal is to further the cultural, social, and economic interests of artists, organizations, institutions, and diverse audiences for arts and culture in the region.

The EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT provides highly organized, detail-driven and confidential administrative support to the Foundation’s Executive Director and Board of Directors. The position requires strong alignment with the foundation’s values, as well as demonstrated success, sound judgment, and flexibility working in a complex, fast-paced environment. This position has the flexibility to be between 32-40 hours per week and reports to the Executive Director.
