Basics to Boxes – A Woodworking Day for Parents and Kids at Station North Tool Library!

Saturday, January 31st : Basics To Boxes

Build a toolbox – from scratch! Participating parent-child teams will learn how to read a plan, make a sketch, measure, mark and handsaw parts for a basic “stuff box”, and a sturdy pine toolbox. Use hand drills to create essential holes; activate hammers, nails, and glue to hold things together! Each adult-child team goes home with a pair of boxes they created together, that last a lifetime.

All safety equipment, tools and materials provided, no prior experience necessary. All projects go home!

Saturday 1/31/15 | 9a-12p | $85 per adult/child pair | Limited space
