Tuvan torchbearers of the throat singing style unique to Central Asia are joined by Baltimore musicians Raw Silk and Shodekeh. There are few performers outside of Baltimore who have been embraced so deeply by Charm City artists and audiences as Alash. The fact that they have travelled all the way from Central Asia for repeated performances and collaboration is all the more amazing.
