A night of jazz-inspired soul from three up-and-coming Baltimore ensembles offering original instrumental, vocal and even a little a cappella. Jazz pianist and composer Mark Meadows has performed with everyone from Tia Fuller to Warren Wolf. Tonight he brings his full band to share original work from his recent CD. Multi-instrumentalist Trina Coleman leads her band Sojourne with original songs and three-octave spanning vocals. Vocalist Nikki Lerner shares original songs, one of which she produced with Grammy award winner Michael League of Snarky Puppy fame. With all groups riding a wave of excitement with their recent recordings, expect a night of soaring music and big energy.
