Musician and songwriter Iain Matthews was a founding member of the iconic British folk rock band Fairport Convention and went on to create the bands Plainsong and Southern Comfort. Matthews recently toured with acclaimed young bands Celebration, Wye Oak, and Beach House. Tonight he begins the evening sharing songwriting that has earned him a place in rock music history, performing with guitarist Jim Fogarty. The consummate outsider artist, Zane Campbell goes on second with an astonishing all star band. Nephew to renowned Appalachian songwriter Ola Belle Reed, Zane has recorded with Tommy Ramone and was a pioneer in NYC’s Anti-Folk scene. He is now back home in Elkton creating music and visual arts.
