This 5 day workshop will be a comprehensive study of the applications of cloisonné enameling. Students will explore creative designing in two dimensions by utilizing historic and modern references. The course will include the use of transparent and opaque enamels, as well as the use of blending, foils, and pigments. Students will leave the workshop with several finished cloisonné enamels and a thorough understanding of this timeless technique. This price includes a $50 materials fee and free weekend workdays August 16 & 17. No experience necessary.
