TolbertD’Agostino Dance presents Grandmothers

GRANDMOTHERS is a dance exhibition that pays homage to, reflects and honors the tremendous lessons from generational protectors both met and unmet: our grandmothers. The exhibition will be brought to the great walls of The Peale Center for Baltimore History and Architecture, the oldest museum building in the United States.

We look to share these stories by allowing the audience to view and write their own letters to their grandmothers. Each artifact and letter presented will be placed into a digital archive allowing people to connect to these stories virtually. TolbertD’Agostino Dancers will move the audience through time and space, with the idea of staying connected to matriarchal power. We will illuminate the Peale’s elegance with a transcendent dance through the perspectives of the powerful women that shape and nurture the world.

Join us Mother’s Day weekend 2018!

Dancers: Noelle Tolbert, Alexander D’Agostino, Alyana Baron, Lindsay Chestnut, Sabrina Liu
