Written by University of Baltimore alumna, Latonia Valincia-Moss, BootPrints tells the stories of three women who are forced to face the ugly truths of their past. In the staged reading and forthcoming movie, directed by Nate Couser of The Artist Exchange Radio Show, Jay Nicole Wallace is featured as “Myeshia”, Sheena Barksdale as “Gingel," and Ama Brown as “Gmama.”

The exhibition, Standing Room Only, curated by Tiffany Jones and featuring work by Brianna Faulkner, Antonio McAfee, and I Henry Phillips Sr., accompanies the production of the film and is on display at the Peale Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12-6pm and Sundays from 10am-4pm, from May 18-June 10, 2018.

Visiting the Peale is free; reserve your self-guided tour today!
