Memorial Day Ceremony

Memorial Day Ceremony

The annual Memorial Day ceremony at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens salutes the men and women of the armed forces who have paid the highest price in defense of the United States of America. The patriotic ceremony which includes music, speeches, a wreath laying and 21-gun salute, will take place on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., in the Circle of the Immortals, Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In addition to honoring those fighting the battles of today, the Memorial Day Ceremony will also pay tribute to those who gave their lives in Korea, Vietnam and World War II. The observance is free and open to the public.

As a special tribute to the 69 Marylanders who died on September 11, 2001 and all others who gave their lives in the war on terror, Maryland's 9/11 Rolling Memorial will be on site at the Memorial Day ceremony. The bell that is housed on the Memorial will toll as we honor the members of the military lost within the past year. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens is located at 200 East Padonia Road -- one mile east of York Road, in Timonium, Maryland. For more information: 410-666-0490 or www.dulaneyvalley.com.
