Baltimore Rock Opera Society Presents: Rock Opera 101, a concert series about the history, music, and energy of rock theater with a focus on the important influences from Black people and other people of color, and addressing the erasure of those people from the history of the art form. The show features Baltimore vocalist Jonathan Gilmore. Over the course of three live-streamed concerts, Jonathan and a full stage of jaw-droppingly talented local musicians and singers will give a high-energy performance of a variety of songs leading up to the birth of rock opera and taking the audience into the future of the genre.
