The Hot Club of Baltimore, led by local guitar sensation, Michael Joseph Harris(Bossalingo), finally brings the exciting sounds of Manouche Jazz to Baltimore! The group has a fresh approach to performing the virtuosic repertoire of Django Reinhardt, while remaining true to the original Romani spirit of the Gitane or "Gypsy" Jazz tradition. Michael will be joined by rhythm guitarists Sami Arefin and Nora Leighton. This evening's show is a tribute to Stephane Grappelli and will feature the brilliant violinist, Patrick McAvinue.

The music of Hot Club brings to mind the Hot Swing of Louis Armstrong,and takes us back to the 1930's, from nightclubs in Montmartre to the Cotton Club of Harlem.
