UMRO performs Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capricicio Espagnol along with two of Mexico’s most popular and frequently performed classical compositions for orchestra: José Pablo Moncayo’s Huapango and Arturo Márquez’s Danzon No.2.

Also on the program, Laura Kaufman, the third-prize winner in the 2013 UMSO Concerto competition, joins the orchestra to perform the Liebermann Flute Concerto.
