Astonishing in her musical versatility and talent, Yasmine Fu brings great warmth, firework and lyrical tone to her playing. Her technical brilliance, maturity in music and its sensitivity makes her an exceptional violinist among peers. Despite her young age, she has performed in the Carnegie Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, Teatro Comunale, Shoac Concert Hall and many other world-famous performing venues.

Yasmine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance at the Peabody Institute of Music with a full-ride scholarship. 2019 fall, Yasmine was invited as the guest performer at the Embassy Gala in Washington D.C, for the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. In the Spring, she rose up in the Marbury Violin Competition as silver medalist. She also won the first prize of Shenzhen Arts school’s Concerto Competition, and was named “Outstanding Violin Player”. Soon after the school’s honor, she won the 3rd place of the Violin Competition in the 3rd Hongkong International Music Festival. In addition, Yasmine received the Merit Award in 2014 CCTV Violin Competition, and the champion of Guangdong Province (China) Violin Competition when only 9 years old.

Yasmine was elected to NYO-China respectively in 2017 and 2019. Presented a concert tour in the United States and China during the summer of 2017, featuring virtuosic pianists Yujia Wang and Olga Kern, conducted by Maestro. Ludovic Morlot, Music Director and Conductor Emeritus of the Seattle Symphony whose successful recordings won two Grammy Awards. And being the principle second of NYO in 2019, invited by Young Euro Classic, Snape Proms and Bolzano Music Festival, having the Europe tour with acclaimed pianist Garrick Ohlsson and Maestro. Ludvic Morlot. Both tours achieved great success throughout the countries. She was also admitted into the Great Wall International Music Academy 2012 with full scholarship, funded by the Staring Project Foundation and Cincinnati College-Conservatory, U.S.

Born in 2000, China, Yasmine began her violin studies at the age of 5, She was accepted to the Idyllwild Arts Academy where she studied with Dr. Todor Pelev with full scholarship at age 13. In 2017, she was awarded full scholarship at Peabody where she followed Professor. Qing Li, violin principle of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Now she is studying in her Master’s at the Yale School of Music with full scholarship.
