Combine sculpture, electronics and electromechanical components to create spinning, glowing, moving sculptures! Create a unique take-home electrified piece of artwork. Perfect for emerging engineers, tomorrow’s sculptors, and those who like to create! Participants will develop an understanding of simple circuitry, and troubleshoot / improve their designs with the support of coaches. Coaches will share resources available in the branch for further exploration.Participants will use conventional materials - cardboard, foam, and quality craft supplies - and combine them with motors, batteries, and LED's in circuits. Create simple switches, and learn how everyday materials can be made into extraordinary kinetic creations.
