Her voice has been described as “a consistent standout” by Washington Life Magazine, and “commanding” by the Academy of Sacred Drama. She can be heard on Hyperion Records as the baritone soloist of Ian Farrington’s innovative new chamber orchestration of Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem, for which her work was described as “forthright and honest” and “penetrating and assertive . . . noble and sensitive.”
