The Baltimore Jazz Collective at Annual Stony Run Friends Meeting Benefit Concert

Stony Run Friends Meeting, a Quaker Meeting in Baltimore, will host their Annual Benefit Concert on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at their Meetinghouse, 5116 N. Charles Street, which is adjacent to Friends School of Baltimore. The concert, held in an intimate setting, will feature nationally acclaimed musicians as part of the Baltimore Jazz Collective with Brinae Ali, tap dance and vocals, Alex Brown on piano, Kris Funn on bass, Sean Jones on trumpet, Todd Marcus on bass clarinet, and Quincy Phillips on drums.

Guests will enjoy the band’s dynamic artistry on their original compositions and arrangements of other great Baltimore composers and then have an opportunity to meet the artists. The Concert will benefit the peace and social justice work of SRFM. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Baltimore Ceasefire 365 and Pennsylvania Avenue Black Arts & Entertainment District. Tickets are $20. The concert will also be livestreamed, and viewers are invited to pay what they can.
