The Highlandtown Arts District is welcoming spring with 18 galleries and shops opening their doors for First Friday Art Walk! In addition to our 31+ artists and makers featured this month, you won't want to miss the soft opening of our new maker's space, Locality, an artisan boutique. Casa de la culura is launching their "Migrant Gallery" in collaboration with Casa Venezuela and with muscial performances starting at 6pm. We are definitely hearing the music this April. You can start your night with a performance by Orchester Prazevica at Creative Alliance and make your way down to Crystal Moll Gallery to enjoy a guitar solo. Lastly, to commemorate the night, stop by 340 Art for a special photo exhibit and a free indiviudual or group photoshoot courtesy of gallery owners and profesional photographers, Susan Stripling, Janie Pilkerton & Steven Pilkerton.
