“Hispanic Heritage”

Columbia Pro Cantare opens its 47th season with a concert "Hispanic Heritage," Saturday, October 21, 2023, 8 pm at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ellicott City. The chorus will sing works by Hispanic composers featuring a new piece by Venezulean-born Cristian Grasses commissioned by the Chorus America Consortium which includes Columbia Pro Cantare and the work, Misa Criolla by Ariel Ramirez. Guest artists include Andres Felipe Palacios, guitar, and Isaiah Shim, piano. The chorus will be under the direction of Artistic Director Laura Lee Fischer.

Tickets: Adults $23, students and senior citizens $18 in advance; $2 more at the door. Children 15 and under: $10. Group rates available.

Half-priced tickets: Tickets usually at $25 are available for $12.50. Attendees must reference the Culture Fly calendar to get half-priced tickets.
