The Magdalena Ensemble

Friends of Early Music and Music at St. David's proudly present the newly-formed early music consort Magdalena, performing a program entitled “Óró Mhór a Mhóirín: Songs of Ireland and Scotland" on Sunday, September 10 at 4:00 pm. Joined by baroque cellist Katie Kotar, the ensemble guides the audience through a journey through early Celtic music, conjuring history through the sounds of harp, whistle, strings, and voice.
The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 3:30 pm. A suggested donation of $10-$20 directly benefits the musicians.
The event will also be livestreamed via Facebook and YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@stdavidsbaltimore. Online donations may be made via PayPal by visiting bit.ly/stdavidsmusicdonation, and you may sign up to receive music series e-mails via bit.ly/MusicNewsSignUp.
