Human Requiem

Human Requiem

Join Baltimore Choral Arts Society on November 5th 2023 for Human Requiem, a classical concert like you've never heard before: We will alternate between performing movements of the Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem and the Thompson Seven Last Words of the Unarmed, a powerful and emotional piece which centers on the last words of seven unarmed Black men who died at the hands of police or authority figures. During the performance, the concert hall will be illuminated by dazzling projections by artist Camilla Tassi.
